Pinehurst was a small suburban town part of the Seahurst-Redwood metro area in Northern Country.  It was east across the Burnett River from Burnett and located slightly west of Redwood.  The town was heavily forested and hidden within thick tall, pine trees.

The town was considered a bedroom community as most people would travel to Redwood, Seahurst, or Burnett for work, shopping, and other services.  It was a quick few minute commute in either direction.  The town did have a town hall and public safety office.  There was a very small "town center" that was heavily forested and housed the city hall and a small general store.
